Becki Newton

Becki has a family at Guilford, Connecticut. She began appearing in local plays and Summer stock theater when she was 13. She spent many semesters studying European History in the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, Becki immediately moved to NYC to follow her dream of Broadway. After appearing in dozens of national commercials as well as guest star roles, including Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and American Dreams (2002), Becki was offered the part of Amanda on Ugly Betty (2006). Her brother Matt Newton is an actor as well as her spouse Chris Diamantopoulos. They're pretty, but not supermodels.
