Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. She is most famous for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's well-known as the main character in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin is born to a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career as an actress at age seven. Her aunt who worked as a nanny to Michael Landon's kids assisted Martin get a part in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". Following her graduation of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness with roles that she was able to land on the small screen and big. In addition to being an actress Martin is a skilled photographer, as well as a dancer. Her sister, who died from Lupus at the age of 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus the national spokesperson.
